10818. UNTERREDUNG DES KÖNIGS MIT DEM GROSSBRITANNISCHEN MINISTER MITCHELL.

Mitchell berichtet, „Hausdorf near the head-quarter at Rohnstock, Friday 30th March 1759“ : „...The King of Prussia told me that he approved much of the project which Prince Ferdinand has now begun to exécute, that, whilst that Prince was to march by Cassel towards Frankfort, Prince Henry of Prussia would march by the Voigtland to Bamberg, that, if the French were once set a running, it was not impossible they might be driven from Frankfort, that the loss of their magazines and the confusion they might be thrown into, would, at least, render them inactive for two months, which he thought a great advantage in the présent situation of affairs.“
