Es ist Mir recht lieb gewesen, aus Eurem Schreiben vom 8. dieses zu ersehen, dass Ihr Mesures nehmet, um auf den Fall des Mouvements der russischen Truppen im Stande zu sein.
Ich muss aber gestehen, dass Ich noch zur Zeit Mühe habe, zu glauben, dass die Russen in diesem Jahre etwas gegen Meine Lande, noch gegen Mich unternehmen, sondern, dass solches mehr in Ostentationen, als in etwas Reelles bestehen wird, und Ihr also nichts zu besorgen haben werdet; wovon Ihr jedoch, so viel möglich, sichere Nachrichten einziehen und was Ihr mit Gewissheit erfahret, mir melden müsset.
Im übrigen habe Ich Euch hierdurch benachrichtigen wollen. wie Ich nunmehro hier auf dem Point stehe, mit denen sächsischen Truppen fertig zu werden und solche als Kriegesgefangene zu bekommen, davon Ich Euch das nähere bekannt machen lassen werde.
